Clydesdale Horseshoe Challenge - Season 2 Episode 1

The Clydesdale Horseshoe Challenge was a challenge I decided to do on my way home to visit my family in Kentucky. I wanted to do a challenge on my way home and reivewed challenges in Peoria and the Clydesdale looked very challenging. The challenge consisted of 7 pieces of Texas Toast, 2 lbs of meat, 2 lbs of fries and 2 lbs of cheese sauce. I had 45 minutes to finish the challenge and if I did I got my meal free plus a custom t-shirt and a spot on the wall of fame. There had been just one person who had beaten the challenge in over a hundred tries and from what I heard no one even got close. I wanted to be the 2nd and own the record.

Baker's Dozen Challenge - Season 1 Episode 12

The Baker's Dozen Challenge was a challenge I really was excited about. Tom + Chee was featured on Man v Food Nation and they were famous for their grilled cheese donuts. I had experimented with donut burgers so I really was intrigued by the challenge. I contacted the people at Tom + Chee and they invited me to come in and take the challenge. The challenge consisted of 12 large donuts grilled with a slice of their famous and delicious cheese and a mystery donut prepared by the chef. I had 10 minutes to finish the challenge and if I did I got my meal free plus a custom t-shirt. There had been just one person who had beaten the challenge, was a retired competitive eater and did so in 6.5 minutes. I wanted to be the 2nd and own the record.

Chuck Norris Burger Challenge - Season 1 Episode 11

The Chuck Norris Burger Challenge was a challenge I wanted to do because I wanted for my family to witness a food challenge when I was at home. My family and I visited my mom and siblings during Christmas and the Chuck Norris Challenge was just 10 minutes down the road. This challenge was a bit different because it was a head to head challenge with another person. The challenge was done at Patrick's on Third (which is a bar) and was held during their Tuesday trivia night. I set a goal of less than 8 minutes and I wanted to demolish the challenge and have fun with it. If I beat the challenge I got the meal free, a free t-shirt and the infamous Chuck Norris Bucket.

The Beast Challenge - Season 1 Episode 10

The Beast Challenge was a bit of a last minute type of challenge. I have always wanted to do a pizza challenge but really did not have an opportunity. Snappy Tomato Pizza is a place just a few minutes from our house and a place we eat often. I learned they had a 2 person challenge that had to be finished in 30 minutes. I talked to the promotional people and asked if they would be willing to allow me to try it by myself within a 60 minute window. I had 60 minutes to finish the pizza by myself and I had to pick 4 toppings. I chose pineapple, mushroom, onions and black olives on one side and on the other side I chose mushrooms, onions, pepperoni and green peppers. The total weight was 7 lbs and was the equivalent of 3 large pizzas. If I finished I got the pizza for free and won a free t-shirt.

The challenge consists of (served coronary style): 2 pounds - tater rounds, 8 oz - smokehouse chili, 10 oz - smoked meats (variety), 12 oz - spicy bbq sauce, 8 slices - cheddar cheese, 8 pieces - applewood smoked bacon, 6 oz - jalapeno slices, 1 fork, 1 food timer set to 30 minutes

Three people have finished it at this point, the quickest was close to 10 minutes. He was the smallest guy yet too. It is probably a 4-5 on the spicy scale, the feat is conquering it's mass.
